About Angel

Angel is a Taiwanese Vancouver doodle artist, muralist, surreal painter, and a designer with a fun sense of humour. A self-taught artist, she loves creating playful, fun, cheeky art that makes people laugh.

Influenced by cartoons, graffiti, street culture, mindfulness, and the subconscious mind, her work aims to bring joy, self-reflection, laughter, deep thought, and re-connection with her inner child.

Her style ranges from bold black-and-white doodles to intricate, colourful illustrations, both physical and digital.

She enjoys art battles, dance battles, teaching, live painting, murals, and her silly imperfect Poorly Drawn Portraits.

She also hosts free mindful doodling workshops for all ages called The Doodle Soup Club.

Her other passions include dancing like a robot, making jokes with friends, and eating soup.

All her art is AI-free.

Angel guides students with doodling techniques, interactive drawing games, zine-making, and reconnecting with our inner child through art. Look out for her meetups, the “Doodle Soup Club”.

Angel's Greeting Cards

Her punny greeting cards were born during the pandemic. She wanted to create something that would connect people, something that combined her art with a sense of humor and heart. Her love for puns, food, and cute art turned into a full-on card line.
After months of researching, testing, drawing, printing, and packaging at home, she started selling on Etsy.

Within 6 months, her cards were in stores and featured by Canon.
